Stirred by a hot exchange with Kohli, Bairstow turns aggressive to reach his fifty
Virat Kohli v Jonny Bairstow started on the evening of the 2nd. Bairstow, who appeared in two big chases against New Zealand with fiery hits, was playing himself. The old cricket is as good as a tuk-tuk. On the air, Graeme Swann said: "Bairstow looks like the shadow of the player who blew it all away against New Zealand. That's another quality attack here.
On the field, Kohli started screaming. At one point, as he crossed the overpass, he yelled, "A little faster than Southee, huh?". At the end of the second day's play, Kohli walked away and put his hand on Bairstow's shoulder and at one point he laughed.
Day 3 begins with Bairstow adopting the same conservatism as Day 2. Kohli begins to find her voice. Bairstow also regained his lungs. The two protested verbally. Bairstow signaled with gloved fingers that Kohli was calling. Kohli put her finger to her mouth and motioned for her to type. Bairstow waved him back on the pitch
At the other end, England captain, Ben Stokes, with a small smile crinkled across his face.
The umpires are involved. Both players nodded and went back to cricket. Bairstow began to find a way to attack. After that, there were a few slick ball phases, the batman sent the ball narrowly past the post. Basically, there are two hacks.
In the slide, Kohli starts laughing. He turned his head, began to tell anyone who would hear how badly Bairstow had lost the ball.
At the end of the match, the referees continued to play, no more talking. Finally, Kohli was seen smiling and making a friendly landing at Bairstow.
That's when things started to go in the direction of England. Bairstow continued his attack and the ball began to disappear over the defenders' heads. Stokes dashed down the track and sent a tall lift to cover, but Shardul Thakur knocked him down. Bairstow continued to play his shots - pulling, driving, kicking and runs started to sink
