 The same format was used in typewriter machines before computers and laptops

 You may have seen the typewriter machine, but it also had a QWERTY format.  This keyboard format was in vogue before it came to computers or laptops.  This format was developed by Christopher Latham Sholes.  Letters were first used in typewriters in the year 19.  It was then known as Remington-1.  But was this format in circulation from the beginning or did it come in ABCD order first?

 Before QWERTY was the ABCD model

 Earlier the typewriter keyboard also had ABCD format but it did not speed up typing and it was inconvenient.  Many people experimented with something to increase typing speed, but the most successful model came in the form of QWERTY.  It made typing easier and the speed was very good.

 Why was ABCD changed to QWERTY?

 In fact, typing on a typewriter was difficult because of the keyboard with ABCD.  One was that the buttons were very close to each other, which made typing difficult, and the other was that English had some of the most used letters and required very few words.

 For more used characters the finger had to be rotated across the board and this greatly reduced the typing speed.  That's why experiments were started with it.  Many attempts failed and the QWERTY format came up in the 120's.  Letters and fingers were set close to the required i.e. most used in this format.

 Another model was Dvorak

 While experimenting with typing and simplification, another format came in the form of Dvorak.  Although the format was not famous for its key settings, it was named after August Dvorak who created it.  However, this keyboard has been under discussion for several days.  It was not alphabetical and typing was not easy either.  People found the QWERTY model the most convenient.  People liked it more and it became popular.
