Why are the headlights of vehicles still on during the day in India?  The biggest reason behind it

You may have noticed that modern day headlights are being provided in cars which are still on during the day.  Let us say that this system is coming with new vehicles.  But today we will tell you in detail in our article why this is so and what is the reason behind it

In fact, the sale of BS-3 vehicles was recently banned by the Supreme Court.  Following the ban, auto companies stopped producing BS-3 vehicles and since then the companies have been producing only BS-4 vehicles.  It is to be mentioned that the new feature of this engine running on BS-4 fuel is that the headlight of the vehicle is also turned on as soon as the vehicle is started.  This means that as long as the engine of a two-wheeler vehicle is started, its headlights will also remain on.  That means the driver will never be able to stop it.

The benefits of having the lights on during the day

It should be noted that the biggest benefit of turning on the headlights even during the day is when the drivers cannot see each other in rain, fog and heavy traffic and this leads to accidents. Apart from that, when the headlights of an oncoming vehicle are flashing normally, the opposite driver becomes alert, which reduces the chances of an accident.

Since when does this rule apply?

Surprisingly, this rule has been in place for the last two years, yet very few people know about it. In fact, the rule of keeping the lights on during the day has been implemented since April 1, 2017.
