What is a computer?  


Computers play an important role in our personal and professional lives.  It has become a part of our lives.  Nowadays we do most of our work with the help of computer.  Simply put, a computer is an electronic device that prepares the input, processing, and output of information according to the instructions and controls of the program.  It can store, modify, and process data.  You can use a computer to type documents, work with spreadsheets, manage data, prepare presentations, send e-mails and surf the Internet to get the information you need.
