Vadodara Municipal Corporation only online applications are invited for direct recruitment of the following vacancies subject to fulfillment of roster order on vacancies and potential vacancies (subject to competent approval).


For this the candidate has to make online application on the website www.vmc.gov.in from 16-02-2022 (13.00 hrs) to 28-02-2022 (16.00 hrs).

(2) Educational qualification, salary scale and other information of these places should be obtained from the website of Vadodara Municipal Corporation www.vmc.gov.in.

(3) Candidate has to pay the prescribed fee online by 22-02-2022.  Applications without payment of fees will be automatically rejected


(4)Considering the number of applications regarding this recruitment process, the decision of Commissioner, Vadodara Municipal Corporation, Vadodara regarding Elimination Test / Competitive Examination / Interview corresponding to that place shall be final and binding.

(1) Sr. No. out of the above posts.  As per Resolution No-2: Expenditure / 2002 /574/1, dated 16-02-2006 of the Government's Finance Department for 06 to 08, from monthly fixed salary and S.V.V. of Vadodara Municipal Corporation.  Circular Issue-44/ 19-20 will be eligible for probationary appointment for three years from 06-02-20.  After completion of the work satisfactorily, consideration will be given to include the prescribed salary scale as per the rules.

1. Educational Qualification and Experience: 


Must be a graduate with 50% or more marks in any discipline of a recognized university. . Must have basic knowledge of computer.


2. Salary scale: 


1. For three years Rs. 19.950 / - Monthly Fixed Salary (Resolution No .: Expenditure / 2002/ 574_1, dated 16-2-06 of the Finance Department of Govt. Receivable as per  26/04/2017


2. SAVV. As per Circular Issue-44 / 19-20 dated 06/02/20will be eligible for probationary appointment with monthly fixed salary for three years. After the completion of the work satisfactorily, the fixed salary will be considered as per the standard 7th pay commission as per the level-2,pay matrix (19900-63200) rules.

3. Age: 

Not less than 18 years and not more than 34 years (maximum age limit as per recruitment rules is 33years + 01 year = 34 years.

 General Provisions of Advertising:

1. Before applying for the above mentioned position, the candidate should make sure that he / she has the required qualifications.


 2. To apply online and make payment only for desktop or laptop 


 3. The number of vacancies mentioned in the advertisement is likely to fluctuate. Application should be made online on .gov.in website. Before applying online, information regarding recruitment as well as instructions should be read from www.vmc.gov.in. 


4. Age, qualification and experience will be considered as the last date for accepting online application. The qualification should be obtained from a recognized university / institution.


5 The Rao. If such is their rightful claim, such candidate will have to give details of orders / authorization establishing equivalence.


Candidate will have to submit a self-explanatory certificate in support of the experience shown in the application (days, months, years), details of basic salary and total salary and type of duties performed / details of experience obtained. Such certificate shall be submitted on the letterpad of the organization with the signature and date of the competent authority. Certificate submitted by the candidate on self-declaration and affidavit will not be considered valid. 


 6. Request for later change in the certificate of experience submitted by the candidate will not be accepted. If the certificate of experience with full details is not submitted by the candidates, then Vadodara Municipal Corporation will decide on the basis of the available certificate / details. Which will be binding on the candidates. 



 7.Candidate's request for subsequent change in the details of caste mentioned in the application will not be accepted. Also, if a candidate has not submitted the certificate of prescribed specimen issued within the prescribed period, his application is considered invalid. And they will not be considered even against non-reserved space.


8. Part-time, daily wage earner, apprenticeship, training, honorarium, invited faculty, in-charge (additional work other than the original position), Against the experience gained by the candidate will not be considered as valid experience. In addition, work obtained during the course of study (e.g. Senior Research Fellow for Ph.D. and Junior Research Fellow) will not be considered. 


 9. If the marks are indicated in the marksheet, degree certificate, the quotation table of the recognized university in its equivalent percentage will have to be submitted at the time of document verification. 


 10. The experience as requested in the advertisement will be considered valid only after the candidate has obtained educational qualification / degree. Prior experience will not be considered valid under any circumstances. Only offer letter / appointment letter will be considered invalid as proof of experience. However, the decision of the competent authority to validate such an experience will be final if it is deemed appropriate after subsequent scrutiny of the proof of increase or promotion order given by the institution from time to time or other supporting evidence. 


 E11. Candidate is required to write his mobile number in the appropriate place in the online application form. Above which a message about future recruitment can be given. Vadodara Muni regarding incorrect mobile number not being written / closed or message not reaching the candidate due to other reasons. The corporation will have no liability. 


 12. Reserved: Reserved seats are reserved only for reserved class candidates of native Gujarat. Only the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Societies and Economically Weaker Class who have been recognized by the Government of Gujarat will be eligible for the benefit of the reserve.

 13. For Veteran Soldier Candidates:


 1. Candidate himself should be Veteran Soldier. Ex-servicemen candidates should provide details of the period of service as ex-servicemen in the application form. The ex-serviceman candidate will have to submit the prescribed specimen signed by an authorized officer, showing the period of employment of the candidate in the Armed Forces on demand. If the candidate has clicked in the Veteran Soldier category in his / her online application and in the future, if the candidate fails to submit the official supporting evidence as a Veteran, the claim of the candidate for employment as a Veteran will not be taken into consideration. If selected, the selection / appointment will be canceled.

 2. Candidates selected in Ex-Servicemen category will be compensated against their respective category (GENERAL / EWS / SC / ST / SEBC). 

 3. If there is no qualified ex-serviceman candidate for the ex-serviceman's reserve, the vacancy will be filled by another qualified candidate in that category.
